Farm Employee Helps Rescue Two From Creek Hole
Two Summitville girls Mabel Stone twelve and Ella Brown fifteen were pulled from a deep Mill Creek hole on the Noah M. Nolt farm after wading with six companions. Kathryn Stone, their sister, jumped in to help as Clarence Rutt, employed by Amos Martin, heard screams and rescued the girls. The other girls were Janet Charlotte Hazel Constance and Betty Miller, all relatives of the Stones and Mill neighbors.

Two State Motor Cops Hurt Chasing Speeding Car
