Obituary of Thomas H Wallace of Chambersburg
Thomas H Wallace died at his home 169 Queen Street Lancaster on Saturday July eighth aged 87. He was born 1848 in East Earl Lancaster County son of the late George and Jane Wallace. He lived much of his life in Franklin County aside from five years in Illinois. He was married to Emma Frazie Maclay of Chambersburg who died two years ago. Survived by a brother John McNeil Wallace of Topeka Kansas a nephew Allan B Wallace of Lancaster a niece Mrs Henry A Renninger of Allentown and nephews Charles P Maclay Harrisburg Joseph P Maclay and David C Maclay of Chambersburg. He served as treasurer of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church and worked in the Cumberland Valley Railroad Auditors Office until retirement four years ago. Funeral held Tuesday July 11 at 10 am at his late home officiated by Rev W L Mudge. Interment in Falling Spring Church Cemetery Chambersburg.
