King's Daughters Review Accomplishments Of Year
The Loyal Workers' Circle of King's Daughters met at St Stephen Reformed Church. They rolled more than nine dozen bandages under Miss Anna W Harner and decided to donate $10 to the lepers. New visiting committees were named for East New Holland and West New Holland. Mrs Charles F Yost led devotions and spoke on unity with God. Mrs John Lehman reported visits to shut ins and gifts donated to various causes totaling many dollars. An auction netted 34.85 for Christmas visits to Welsh Mountain Mission and other gifts across multiple charities. No August meeting is planned.

Water Comes by Gravity to New Holland Townsfolk Rejoice
July 18, 1895. Water finally reaches New Holland by gravity after earlier pump-fed tries. A handspike blocked the main and delayed flow but workers cleared the line, letting the system fill the town. Pressure reached about sixty pounds, and spigots ran at the Styer House as the town cheers the new civic improvement.

Lt Edward Plank POW recounts Berlin mission at Lions dinner
