Adult Project of Education Opens July 16
The adult education and recreation program will start Monday on school grounds under the Pennsylvania Department of Public Instruction. Lions Club sponsors have secured Ivan P. Lowry as supervisor. participants 16 and older are invited. Activities include softball, quoits, tennis, and educational tours with hours 5 to 8 p.m. five days weekly. Egg and Poultry Auction Prices Improve at Lancaster
Prices at the Lancaster County Egg and Poultry Auctions yesterday showed improvement. Eggs sold 18 to 25 cents per dozen, broilers 15 to 24 cents a pound, and fowls 14 to 17 cents. Producers are invited to bring products as buyers from New York Philadelphia and Trenton attend for variety and quality.

He belonged to Ranch's United Brethren church and the Fraternal Patriotic Americans and Knights of the Mystic Chain Lancaster. Survived by wife Ida Hildebrand and sister Annie S Skiles of this borough. Funeral at home Friday 9 30 a m with service at 10 a m in Ranch's United Brethren church. Burial in adjoining cemetery.

John Redcay seventy nine died at 1:30 am Wednesday at his son John Redcays home in Denver R 1 after a disease complication. He left eight children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Storms Cause Heavy Losses in Lancaster County
A series of severe electrical and wind storms last Saturday caused six fires, flood damage, and major destruction around Hinkletown and Lampeter. Homes along Conestoga flooded three feet, barns and meadows were swept, cattle were moved, campers stranded, and a barn fire on Harry Longenecker’s farm caused about 315000 in damage. Fire crews from multiple towns aided, saving other structures and livestock.
