Two Brothers Injured in Auto Bicycle Crash

County Championship Shoot at Lancaster Rod and Gun Club
The Lancaster County Championship Target Shoot will be held on the New Holland Rod and Gun Club grounds along the Gap New Holland State road about three miles southeast of the borough. Scouts urged to attend Camp Chiquetan for week
At the July Troop Committee meeting it was noted only one scout has signed up for a week at Camp Chiquetan. The committee will pay half the fee for each signup within a week. Weeklong camp cost is $10. scouts pay $6 with $5 covered by the committee. Activities include water sports, trail hikes, crafts, nature lore, and daily camps. Camp dates run July 7 through August 31 with weekly sessions.

Mt Tabor U B Church held a Home Coming Service on Sunday evening June 30 to honor church and community members who served in World War II. Eight veterans attended and were given red roses from a church basket. the Sunday School presented flowers and the service featured a pastor message. The basket was later presented to Mrs Harry Dunlap Gold Star Mother whose son Raymond Dunlap died in World War I.
