Barton M. Martin, living half a mile south of Terre Hill, was injured while unloading hay with a spear on a wagon. The spear unhooked from a pulley and struck his back between the ribs, creating a three inch deep wound. He was taken home and treated by Dr. J. L. Winters of Blue Ball and is resting fairly well.
