Gap Garage Robbery Report At Gap With Two Armed Bandits
Two armed men robbed the Boyer and Cramer garage in Gap about 6 am on Friday, stealing $25 from cash registers. A blue sedan with Illinois plates carried the leaders described as tall in a brown overcoat and light hat, and short in a brown suede jacket and brown hat. William Z. Martin held a cow sale at his farm on Wednesday selling the top Canadian Holstein to Adam Oberholser of Blue Ball for $172. The 49 head realized over $3,700. A truckload shipped by Frank Wilson saw the second-highest cow go for $151 to Chester Weaver, and the third bring in $149. A Holstein sire sold for $119, with more cows expected on February 10.
