Wreck on Schuylkill Bridge Kills Mail Clerk in Philadelphia
A Schuylkill River bridge wreck in Philadelphia occurred Wednesday afternoon when brake rigging dropped from a mail car, derailing it and being struck by an oncoming train. Chief mail clerk James M. Ulsh died, five assistants were seriously injured, and Seeger Roland, son of Mrs. Geo. O. Roland, avoided danger while on sick list.

Fatal Buggy Accident Near Manheim Claims 78 Year Old
Samuel Givier aged 78 of Rapho township near Manheim was killed Monday afternoon when his horse frightened and bolted throwing him from the buggy. He landed on his head and the skull was crushed. He died before Dr. Seiling arrived. Surviving children include David of East Petersburg Elizabeth Kurtz and Samuel Masheim.

Driving Accident at Trolley Junction
Mr and Mrs William Fry myer of Leola were driving on the New Holland turnpike when their vehicle toppled after catching in the Ephrata and New Holland trolley tracks at the junction. Mrs Fryberger suffered a dislocated shoulder. the horse bolted but was soon recaptured.

Arm Laceration From Portable Saw Injury
Daniel Martin twenty year old son of Joseph W. Martin was injured at Benjamin Hoover's farm while adjusting a belt on a circular saw powered by a portable engine. The cut damaged flesh and ligaments from wrist to elbow. He was treated by Dr Wentz and taken to Lancaster General Hospital where his condition remained hopeful and amputation was not expected.
