Clayton Hershey sixty seven of Kinzer Route one died at six twenty a m Saturday in Lancaster General Hospital after an eight month illness. He was born in Salisbury Township son of Mary E Belenghade Hershey and the late Jacob B Hershey a member of Hershey Mennonite Church and survived by his mother seven children and several siblings

A birthday dinner honoring James Pickel and his daughter Dolores from Bareville and Alta Ream of Blue Ball occurred Saturday evening at Keener's Restaurant Honey Brook. After the meal, guests, including Carrie Stover, joined in several games.
Fourteen New Holland flyers purchase a three passenger airplane for 10000 dollars and store it at Lancaster Municipal Airport. Dr Robert Jones of Ephrata will direct operations as they seek eight more members to buy another plane this spring.

A $5 March of Dimes gift was given and the group marked the anniversary of founder Charlotte Ruppin. The February meeting will be at Mrs. H. E. Romig's Akron home.
