Mary King 70 Amish woman dies at home of pneumonia

Mrs. Mary King of near Intercourse aged seventy died Tuesday night at 11 from pneumonia. Wife of Jonathan L King she was an Amish church member. Survived by husband two daughters in laws and six sons plus twenty three grandchildren and two brothers and a sister. Funeral Friday at 9 at Beiler home with burial in Beiler's cemetery Ronks area.

Mrs Susan Winters Dies at 67 in Terre Hill

Mrs Susan Winters sixty seven died at her home in Terre Hill Wednesday morning at 3 oclock from complications. She is survived by daughter Mrs Cora Hill of Reading an adopted son Charles Stamm of Norristown sisters Mrs John Slater Terre Hill Mrs Kate Hoffman Muddy Creek Mrs Lydia Halligan Reading Mrs Lizzie Schnader Lancaster and brother Samuel Lesher Terre Hill. Funeral services will be held privately at the home Saturday afternoon at 1 30 with public services in the Evangelical Congregational church Terre Hill at 2 Burial will be in the Terre Hill cemetery.

Thomas K. Millard dies aged unknown survived by widow Elizabeth Jones and two sons Thomas and Mark at home. Illustrated Oberammergau Passion Play Lecture at Church

A Benedictine illustrated lecture on the Passion Play of Oberammergau will be given at the local Methodist Episcopal church on Thursday evening January 29 at 5 30 by John Watchorn. The talk will use stereopticon slides to enhance the history of the play once vowed to curb plague in 1632 1633.
