Thieves broke into Harris Bros. & Co. Store on East Main Street Friday night and took 25 men’s suits valued at 375 dollars. The break in was found Saturday morning and Special Officer Davis Warfel and State Police investigated. A manager said intruders forced the front door and four strangers loitered nearby earlier. No suspects yet.

Boy Injured as Pony Falls Near Lancaster
Paul Reese, eight years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Reese, fractured his left leg near the ankle when a pony slipped and fell in front of M. F. Becker's harness shop. Fire rescue and medical staff transported him to St. Joseph's Hospital, where X rays and surgery were planned. The pony was new to the rider and was restrained after the incident.
