Borough Council Advances Proposed Budget Plan
Borough Council met in adjourned session at Borough Hall with all members present. A public notice will announce the proposed budget available for inspection at 207 East Main Street. The council reappointed George L. Dissinger as sewer superintendent and Blamee as water superintendent and street commissioner. Ivan P. Lowry was reappointed to the New Holland Borough Authority for five years. The State Board of Housing requested housing data and the council authorized a response. It is estimated 200 houses are needed. The meeting changed from the first Monday to the first Wednesday of each month at 8 o'clock. William K. Pennock of Gap was appointed health officer until a permanent appointee is qualified.
