Mr LeRoyew Groff and wife visited Mrs Groff's parents at Torre Hill on Sunday. Mrs Groff decided to stay overnight and her husband planned to pick her up Monday. She was ill with a heavy cold and the doctor advised against the return trip in severe weather. She remained all week and is improving nicely.
Tomorrow in Trinity the Rev Albert Steinhauser, formerly pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church Allen town, will visit friends. He will preach in the morning with the pulpit filled by the pastor.
Al Kling proprietor of the Midway Hotel gave a turkey dinner to the Ni Holland line conductora and motormen along with the freight crew. They enjoyed a good meal and a merrier time in a gesture of hospitality.
