In New Holland the borough approved a 60,000 bond for a new school building by a 198 to 65 vote amid light turnout. The loan spans 30 years and may trigger a direct tax. Officials say plans will be drawn soon and construction could start in spring despite voter questions.
Susan G Weaver died at her home in New Holland after a months long illness from a complication. She was in her fifty fifth year and survived by her husband and many relatives including two sons and six daughters. Services at Weaverlands Church with Henninger in charge.
Milton R. Martin aged 81 died at his home near Hahnestown on a Friday night after a five week illness. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Elias Earl of Churchtown and Mrs Tobias Warner and Landis Scheffer were among relatives. The cause listed is typhoid fever. Funeral arrangements were to be announced by the family.
Mrs Elizabeth Mack of. Pennsylvania county died from heart failure. Funeral services were held at the Mens.
Gideon B Stoltzfus died Wednesday evening at his Gordonville home from pneumonia after six days illness. He was 78 and a member of the Amish church. Survived by widow and children Enos Irush town John Samuel Mrs Benjamin Fisher Mrs Joe Stoltzfus. one brother Christian of Gordonville. Funeral from his home Saturday morning at 10 with interment in Gordeville cemetery.
Mrs Catherine G Good widow of Aaron B Good died Monday at 3 30am at the home of her son in law Levi Hoover Grand View Farm New Holland Ave near Lancaster after a five day illness of complications aged 80 She was a Trinity Lutheran New Holland member Her husband died in 1917 and she was the last survivor of her family Surviving children are Ida Levi Hoover Catherine Tobias Renninger and Harry Funeral 1 30pm at Levi Hoover home and 2 30pm at Trinity Lutheran Church Interment in adjoining cemetery J C Henninger in charge
