Reunion of the class of 1943 at Hershey High School elected Mrs Best as president. Activities included an address on her positions since leaving New Holland. Games were enjoyed under supervision of former president Leon Richwine.

Survived by husband and children Luella of Ephrata Jacob Wize Ther Er Esther Walter Good Murrell Habotker near Akron with spouses. Death notice states graveside services at adjoining cemetery with visitation at her late home Friday 7 to 9 p m.
William S Foster 80 died at the Esbenshade home in New Holland R 2 of a cerebral hemorrhage after a short illness. He lived there 26 years, born in Paradise, son of the late Prec and Elizabeth Shabaugh Foster. Survived by brother Harry Foster Reading and sister Mrs Emma Miller Coatesville. Funeral from residence Wednesday at 1 pm with church services at 2 pm in Paradise Presbyterian Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.

Rev George W Wilt officiated. The bride wore white satin with a lace veil and carried white roses. The maid of honor wore petal pink marquisette. A reception followed at the bride’s home. The couple will reside at 226 West Main Street. The bride attended New Holland High School and University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. the groom teaches at New Holland High School.
Miss Anna K Buckwalter daughter of Edgar and Maria Buckwalter Martindale and Eli J Nolt son of Jacob and Lydia Nolt New Holland R 1 were married at 2345 p m Saturday at the bride's home by Joseph O Weaver and John B Weaver. They were attended by Martha Buckwalter Mabel Martin Titus Nolt and Enos Weaver. A dinner for 78 guests followed.
Troop 33 held its January 6 meeting at Mrs. R. H. Brubaker’s home electing officers for the year: chairman Mrs. Brubaker secretary Mrs. John H. Martin and treasurer Mrs. Margaret Dickinson. A Brownie Fly-up and Intermediate Court of Awards were planned for January 29 with eleven Brownies moving up. The group will continue a glass collection drive and assist in scrap collection locally.
Mr and Mrs Nathan D Enck of Meadow Avenue Leola observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary with a reception at home. They wed January 2 1897 at Lititz United Brethren church with Rev C F G Miller officiating. Mrs Enck was born Ella Minda Wike.
