Motorman Tobias M Sechrist Dies of Heart Failure
Tobias M Sechrist motorman for Conestoga Traction Company died from heart failure after a late shift near Mount Joy. The 49 year old resident of 12 South Ann street was found dead on the front platform of his Elizabeth town trolley car after it coasted down a grade. Conductors and passengers halted the car, two crews moved the car to Lancaster, and Undertaker Robinson transported the body. Funeral arrangements followed with services at Millersville Mennonite church.

Prof Benjamin F Heiges assistant superintendent of county schools died Friday December 80 at 1 50 pm at his home in Manheim after a stroke of apoplexy following a short illness. Born December 13 1865 in York county he taught in Cocalico Mount Joy and Elizabethtown schools and led Manheim High for 19 years before becoming assistant county superintendent. He belonged to Zion Lutheran Church Manheim and to Manheim F and A M No 587.
