Isaac F. Davis of 811 State Street Lancaster died at Lancaster General Hospital at 9 p m last Thursday after collapsing outside the receiving ward. Death was due to a coronary occlusion. He had been treated for a heart condition and drove to the hospital when ill. He was affiliated with Rajah Temple Reading Reading Consistory Lancaster Lodge of Perfection Elks Club of Lancaster and Lancaster Country Club. He is survived by his wife Mar James W of Lancaster. Funeral services were held from Abram Snyder Funeral Home Lancaster on Monday at 2 p m with interment in Greenwood cemetery.
Mrs William Steiger forty four wife of William B Steiger of 726 South State Street Ephrata died at 7 am Tuesday in St Josephs Hospital after an illness of one and a half years. She was the daughter of the late Mrs Anna William Sturgis and formerly employed by Yorktowne Shirt Factory. She belonged to Bergstrasse Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.

Miss Betty Lou Zook daughter of Mr and Mrs Attrenis T Zook Bird 4th Hand R 1 and Marvin Zimmerman son of Mr and Mrs Eli M Zimmerman East Earl R 1 were married at 2 30 p m Christmas Day in the Stumptown Church by Bishop Elmer Martin. The bride wore a gown and was attended by Ruth Zimmerman maid of honor with Anna Mary Denlinger and Mary A Zook as bridesmaids. Best man was Robert Duane Zook and ushers were Paul Bucher and Paul Musser. A reception for forty guests followed at the bride’s home.
Miss Helen Grim Diehl daughter of Mr and Mrs Harold J Diehl 1906 Trooper Road Reading and Norman Eugene Kalbach son of Mr and Mrs B Edward Kalbach 1600 Dauphin Avenue Wyomissing were married at 4 pm Friday at St Stephen Reformed Chase this Borough. The Rev A Bachman pastor officiated at the single ring ceremony The bride wore aqua suit with black accessories and orchid corsage The couple proceeded to a brief wedding reception
Thelma E Burkhart of Leacock pursues engagements for her son Leon Buch Jr and his brother Douglas Buch. Leon, a 14 month Pacific Theater veteran with 32 total months service, works for Frank Ix Son Inc New Holland. Douglas served 14 months in the ETO with 36 total months of service and is engaged to Betty L Buch. No wedding date set.
