The annual magazine project from New Holstein High School's senior commercial department will launch January 9 at 4 PM and run through January 20. Elmer X an appointed general manager with Pauline Martin and Svelyn Landis as co assistants. Miss arian Hogeland oversees content. The venture uses spring samples as practical lessons in selling subscriptions and business operations with voluntary student participation to raise school profits.

Woman Hurt By Motor Car In Leacock
Mrs Annua Stoltzfus twenty five of Bareville Pa was struck by a car after alighting from a trolley near Leacock Route 23. She suffered a fracture of the right leg and lacerations to both hands and the right side of the neck and was hospitalized at Lancaster General after receiving first aid at the scene. The driver Russell Hillegass of Leacock said visibility was poor due to rain and the pedestrian did not see the car.

Asaac W Horst aged seventy six of New Holland died after illness of weeks. He was a Weaverland Mennonite Church member and is survived by his wife Susanna Huber and twenty nine descendants including Lizzie wife of Samuel Musser Earl R 1 Anna wife of Harvey Zimmerman Denver R 1 Lena wife of John Horn and many siblings. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 30 am at his home and 1 00 pm at Weaverland Mennonite Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
