Mrs Leed, a quiet unassuming mother and obliging neighbor, died after sinking rapidly from night until death. She belonged to St Stephen Reformed Church and was esteemed by all. Survived by husband, two daughters Cora Shreiner and Mia Belle Hang of Lancaster, six sons Tarey, Tiane, Free, William of Ephrata, Maraus and Edgar at home. Funeral to be held Sunday at 10 in St Stephen Church with interment in St Stephen Cemetery.
In New Holland and Ranelli United Brethren churches a New Year surprise saw about sixty five members and friends gather at the parsonage on New Year’s evening. They presented the pastor and family with cash and provisions totaling $35.35 after a short service and address by Aaron Bear.
