Large County Chorus Plans January 10 Service

A major religious musical program will be held January 10 at 1 30 PM in St Pauls Reformed Church Lancaster as a climax to a countywide preaching mission. Organized by the Lancaster County Federation of Men s Bible Classes and various singing groups, the event features multiple conductors and groups from schools churches and communities with Miss Marie R Gast at the organ and Miss Evelyn Heisman leading school group singers. Accommodations for two thousand are available and several numbers will be sung a cappella.

Leola Church Plans Watch Night and Concert

The Leola Methodist Episcopal church will hold Watch Night services starting at 9:00 p.m. with a Young People social and program. Infant son of Beiler dies of bronchial pneumonia near Intercourse

David H. Beiler infant son of Jona than and Lydia Hertzler Beiler of near Intercourse died at home Sunday evening at 10 o'clock of bronchial pneumonia. Their son Richard, a Penn State student, also marked his 23rd birthday the same day. The couple are active in Grange circles, with Mr. Bruckart serving as Warwick Unit Master and Mrs. Bruckart elected Lady Assistant Steward of the Pennsylvania State Grange.
