Man Fatally Hurt Falling From Truck in White Horse
Fifty nine year old Sweigart of White Horse died at home after a truck fall near the Christiana Cannery. Deputy coroner Dr. John A. Boyd said he fell from a cannery truck en route to a freight siding and suffered an intracranial hemorrhage. He refused hospital care and died about a day later. He leaves a wife Emma M. and children Edith Miriam Raymond Ruth and Calvin plus five grandchildren and several siblings. Funeral at Pequea Evangelical Congregational Church White Horse Saturday at 2 p.m. with burial in nearby cemetery. viewing Friday at his White Horse home.
