West End chicken thieves arouse resident in Townsley area
Geo. S. Townsley of West Main street woke at about 2 a m Wednesday to noises near his home and found several young chickens stolen from his yard and others missing from nearby properties. Authorities noted several birds had been taken from the neighborhood in recent weeks.
