Limus Brakeman Severely Injured In Downingtown Accident
Harry K. Calmery, a brakeman on the Downingtown & Lancaster line, suffered seven injuries including a broken right arm a dislocated left shoulder and a fractured ankle when eight cars passed over him at East Downingtown. He was rescued unconscious and transported to a Philadelphia hospital. Calmery formerly worked for Reading Railroad and had just joined Pennsylvania Railroad on his first trip. His family lives in Nutetown Philadelphia.

Public Sale of New Holland Silk Mill Property
Frederick F. Sethrig, receiver of the New Holland Silk Company, sold the silk mill property on the premises comprising 1.25 acres with buildings and machinery.
