A K Hostetter seventy one president of the Conestoga National Bank was found dead in the kitchen at 715 N Duke Street Lancaster. He had been ill for about a year and had planned a trip to the Pacific Coast after a short hospital stay. Death was attributed to a bullet wound in the head per deputy coroner Dr J F Trexler.

School Tax Cases Again Continued
The New Holland Borough School Board was told that the cases of the School District of New Holland versus Ellwood H. Shaub Levi K. Bear and F. P. Dixon Nos 50 and 51 January Term 1935 have been continued by the court to allow Bear's attorney time to prepare for trial next Monday. The solicitor said cases were put over despite protest and cannot come up before fall. the appellant had time to secure an attorney during the interval between January 14 and April 11 or 12.
