Laborer Killed by Electrical Pole Near Adamstown
Joseph Jorena a 23 year old foreign laborer employed by Reading Traction Co was instantly killed near Adamstown on Monday morning when a pole bearing current from the wire to the car flew from the wire and struck him on the head fracturing his skull. The car halted and Jorena died at the scene. the body was taken to the West Reading power house and the coroner notified.

Bowers Thwarts Fire That Injured Clerk at Lancaster
J R Bowers a Lancaster postal clerk sustained minor burns when his three year old son Lester set his mother's dress ablaze. Corly quickly smothered the fire with his hand and aided by a physician, Bowers continued work at the post office despite the injury. He had moved with his family from Brownstown weeks earlier.

Caernarvon to Build Iron Bridge at Windsor Dam Site
Caernarvon township supervisors plan an iron bridge over the old dam breast at Jacob Weaver's Windsor mill after heavy rains washed away part of the barrier.
