Borough Bonds Sold and Town Hall Planned
The borough council accepted the New Holland National Bank bid of 7000 dollars at par for bonds. The funds will finance a brick town hall 35 by 60 feet housing fire apparatus and borough offices, with a council chamber and lockup. A lot at Roberts avenue and Franklin street near mills and shops was purchased for 3650 dollars. New spring arrivals for men and young men are now ready at low prices.

Death of Mrs Irene Maul 30 in Harrisburg
Rev S M Mountz learned of the death of his sister Mrs Irene Maul widow of Harrisburg who died Sunday after an appendicitis operation. She was 30 and the body lay at her mother's Carlisle home until the Wednesday funeral as Rev Mountz traveled from Carlisle for the rites.
