Music Festival at New Holland High School
The New Holland High School Music Department holds its annual festival Friday April 14 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium featuring the Symphony Orchestra Concert Band Senior Glee Club and Junior Girls Glee Club. The Concert Band will represent Lancaster County in the State contest with major overtures marches and solos by Richard Landes. The Junior Girls Glee Club will perform three numbers including Calm as the Night Ghost of Indians and Parade of the Wooden Soldiers by Jesse.

A large cigar-box factory in Terre Hill was burned to the ground last Sunday evening. The flames were described as bright and large, visible two miles away in Martindale and Beov Bry Mill.
