Woman Struck by Train Near Stevens Injured
Miss Agnes McQuate of near Stevens was struck by a P and R passenger train while walking on the track between Ephrata and Stevens Saturday night. Found after 30 o clock, she had both arms broken, spinal injury and facial contusions. She is forty and was taken to St Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster after initial care from Dr F E Miller.

Farm Smoke House Burnt Near Voganville
A smoke house on the farm of Hettie Nolt tenanted by Mahlon Nolt, half a mile south of Voganville near the Five Points, was destroyed by fire on Wednesday with its contents. Fire started while attempting to smoke meat, and it is thought this caused the blaze.
