Two Late Hunts Report Fox Chasees in Sunflower and Clover Leaf Meets
In Sunflower, Harry N. Barr led a hunt from West Main street with J. P. Rutter dropping the fox in B. G. Good's field. The quarry was caught near Main street on Harvey 8. Bowers farm by John Woomert after about half a mile. About thirty dogs and several horsemen participated in warm weather. Clover Leaf Hunt tried mammal hunting at Levi Z. Brinmer's home on Brimmer avenue but snow and thunder hampered progress. Fox escaped after a long chase that ended with riders pursuing until 7:30 pm. About twenty riders joined the hounds.
