Commencement Exercises Draw Large Audience at Union Hall
The high school commencement at Union Hall drew a large crowd last Monday. Graduates Miss Mary Gotwald Miss Nora Owen and Malcolm Owen delivered lengthy essays. The Golden Dramatic Troupe band led by Prof J M Roci performed on the streets, with John Franklin Drum Major. Evansville theater dates announced for June 2. A serenade from the band followed the show. Local bruisers hosted a rough game Tuesday night with no arrests. Mr and Mrs C A Part and Miss Hattie Spencer from Mt Vernon visited town. women aided in the program.
