Henry Hunsdon Notary Public and Commissioner for Illinois in Indiana will attend to writing and taking acknowledgments of deeds mortgages powers of attorney and all other business connected with the office of Notary Public in New Harmony Indiana. January 10.
The thermometer readings show morning noon and evening values through Friday. Saturday records 34 and 83, Sunday 27 43, Monday 41 44, Tuesday 40 4, Wednesday 50 58, Thursday 34 44, with notes up to press time.

Posey County Missouri Mt Vernon Indiana notice informs taxpayers that the tax duplicate for 1888 has been received and that from January 1, 1889, the county treasurer will collect taxes at Mt Vernon. The notice states tax rates per hundred dollars valuation and per poll.
