MasQuERADE balla and legislative questions loom
A cluttered local column notes MasQuERADE events for next Monday and Tuesday and questions on why the legislature does not abolish the grand jury fraud. It reports Engine No. 30 on the railroad, a dam washout, weather woes in the south, and town appointments including Jane Lyon as town marshal. It also cites health updates, political murmurs, and upcoming magazine notices, with marriage licenses and two weddings recorded.
