Posey County April term opens next Monday at Circuit Court
Judge Parrett will preside as the Posey Circuit Court begins the April term with a large docket. Assessors are distributing blanks to taxpayers for prompt returns and those wishing their names printed on April election tickets must respond in time. Posey County Agricultural Society members plan a Saturday meeting to transact important business and full attendance is urged. A few visitors appeared last Wednesday prompting caution about summer clothes. George Drerz, longtime resident now in Kansas, is visiting, noting many changes in New Harmony. The Golden dramatic troupe continues to earn praise in Florida and Georgia, with hopes Mr. Golden may end the season in New Harmony.
