James Chipman of 234 Edgewood avenue was fatally injured at 11 this morning at the Lehigh Portland cement quarry when he was caught in a drill machine while working with his father Prod Chipman. He was taken to Mamenango Valley hospital where he died a few minutes later. He was a 1922 New Castle High School graduate. He is survived by his parents and sisters Margaret Mildred and Janet.
