Love-sick pilot crashes into house after chase
Edmonton police say Randy Mock, 30, flew a Cessna two-seater in a dawn pursuit of his ex girlfriend Donna Lorenz, then crashed into her living room when fuel ran low. Neighbors described a surreal scene as Mock stalled and clipped trees, finally landing inside the home. Lorenz and her parents escaped with the pilot suffering skull fractures and facial injuries. Police evacuated about 100 people to a mall parking lot during the incident. Mock had earlier been in headlines for a 1988 injunction against another former girlfriend over abortion plans. He was laid off from Edmonton International Airport in June.
