Powell named Lawrence County Young Woman of the Year 1993
Tiffany Anne Powell, Lincoln High School senior of Ellwood City, was crowned Lawrence County’s Young Woman of the Year 1993 at Westminster College. She competed among 17 entrants, earning a $2,000 Lawrence County Junior Miss Inc. scholarship and a $500 Westminster scholarship. Powell sang He Touched Me during her presentation and plans to study ophthalmology at Bucknell University. First runner up Angela Pieri, second runner up April Zambelli, and third runner up Holly Wimer were recognized along with other honors and scholarships for the contestants.
