Soldiers Are Honor Guests at Carnegie Dinner
Thursday evening a Carnegie Steel Company event honored local employees who served in World War I. George A. Rigby hosted at five o'clock in the auditorium on South Jefferson, with 290 soldiers in attendance and many in uniform. The meal was prepared in house by office staff and foremen, featuring fried chicken, potatoes, corn, pineapple salad, ice cream, cake, and coffee. The Carnegie Drum Corps played as Hon. J. Norman Martin spoke, joined by Mayor A. D. Newell, Major Cunningham, and Sheriff H. Boyd among others. Gas Company Seeks Temporary Main Across Footbridge

Surviving children include Mrs G R Tate Pittsburgh Mrs H B Magee New Castle and Miss Reta McClintock Pittsburgh. Services were held today at 11 AM at the Meridian residence. Funeral for Rev McClintock is set for tomorrow at 3:00 PM at Rev Tata Anheim Street Pittsburgh.
