The first day of criminal trials in Lawrence County Court featured numerous plea changes. Albert Williamson admitted guilt in an armed robbery of Best Oil Co. July 25, Charlene Bosko pleaded guilty to drug false pretenses, William Houston admitted guilt in a Trudy’s Dairy burglary case, and John Ritter, David Leasure Jr., Robert Lutz, and many others pleaded guilty to various charges including burglary, larceny, gun and drunken driving offenses. Several innocent pleas remained and ten defendants had bonds forfeited for failure to appear as cases progressed before Judge Howard W. Lyon.
