Court ruling may alter race for commissioner
A Allegheny County Court ruling could shift the Lawrence County and Allegheny County commissioner races. Sheriff Eugene L. Coon seeks to place his name on the November ballot, arguing that the top three primary vote-getters should be nominated under a 1978 statute. If favored, the decision may affect other counties and potentially change party representation on the board.
