Chief Clerk Fiester Dies After 33 Years with Pennsy
Charles B Fiester longtime chief clerk to the Erie and Ashtabula division of the Pennsylvania Railroad died at 7 am at 219 East Sheridan avenue in New Castle after seven years residence in the city. He came from Cleveland on July 25 1932 to assume the post and had earlier served in Buffalo and Cleveland in railroad accounting and clerical roles. Born in Williamsport he had a 33 year career with the Pennsylvania Railroad beginning in 1906.

Vogel, 47, weighed 240 pounds, tried to jump from one steel deck to another when he fell, authorities said. His son Henry, 22, witnessed the accident.
