Waltham Precision Inc announced it will buy all stock of Johnson Bronze Co including Ferraloy Inc and Salem Inc with an option to purchase Johnson Bronze International controlling Johnson Bronze do Brasil. Frederick C. Rieck said the deal largely cash and to close before September. Edward Flaherty will stay as chairman. Charles M. Schubert becomes president. The board adds Kenneth Tiffany and Jess Hessel remains as Ferraloy head. Johnson Bronze makes bushings bearings and bearing materials for automotive and industrial markets. Waltham Precision is sole US aircraft clock maker and maker of high precision timing devices. control of Waltham Precision is now by Waltham Industries Corp.
