Michael Seginak 61 of Farrell died Tuesday from a heart attack. Former New Castle resident, born Oct. 10, 1898, son of the late Michael and Anna Seginak. Survived by wife Anna Wasnak, a daughter, a son, three sisters and five brothers. Services held in Farrell with interment at Oakwood cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles J. Knapp 77 were held at St Joseph Church Sharon with interment in St. Rose Cemetery. He died Sunday at home after an extended illness leaving wife Florence Frazier Knapp two daughters three sons sister Margaret Hall of Pulaski and a brother.

Signal caps found in front of Croton Ave club

City police investigated the placement of several dozen railroad type signal caps found in front of the Duca Degli Acuzzi Club on Croton Avenue yesterday. An unidentified tipster said mild explosive material would be found there. Officers disposed of the caps at Cascade Park quarry.

Mrs Williams Dies In Trinidad West Indies

Mrs Rachel Patterson Williams wife of the late L E Williams and a former New Castle resident died at her daughter's home in Trinidad after a long illness. She was born May 12 1897 in New Castle to James C and Mary Norris Patterson and is survived by her daughter Mrs Charles Maynard a sister Eva P Reynolds in New Castle and several nieces nephews and cousins. A brother Clarence H Patterson preceded her in January 1946. Services were held in Trinidad today.

Ellwood City Man Dies After Minor Crash

Thomas S. McCrobie 37 of 206 Pittsburgh Circle died of a heart attack minutes after his car was in a minor collision at Conway's Corner Rochester. He collapsed at 2 50 p m near the crash scene. He served in WW II earning the Purple Heart and Presidential Unit Citation. Survived by wife Audrey and children Thomas Jr Larry Sally, plus siblings.
