Auto Accidents Load County Roads With Injuries

Valuable Barn Destroyed by Lightning Fire
A barn on T. C. Reichard’s East Brook road farm in Hickory township was struck by lightning during an evening storm and burned, causing about 8000 in losses partly covered by insurance. The blaze started among straw bales at 5 45 and spread quickly, destroying the new structure built about ten years ago for 5000. Thirty cattle and a team were saved but three calves perished.
