A coroner's jury in Wampum found Jefferson Winston died August 31 1930 in Ellwood City Hospital from injuries after Walter Mora's auto struck the Winston car on the Ellwood Wampum road. Lars Hansen a 66 year old meat packing plant superintendent was killed when the car he and his wife Caroline Hansen were riding in was struck by a freight engine at a Pennsylvania grade crossing.
