H W McGeary formerly of New Castle police receives state commission as a game warden under Dr Joseph Kalbfus secretary of the game commission. John Clark faced Alderman Ranney on a larceny charge for $25 from B. F. Nimmo at the Vendome hotel and was discharged for lack of evidence. Victim of Joy Ride Dies in the Hospital
Charles C. Cole 46 of 16 East South Street died at Shenango Valley Hospital after injuries from a Frizzleburg automobile overturning a week earlier. He had appeared to recover after leaving the hospital but worsened, a brain blood clot causing his death. Survived by wife Ella, mother Ann Cole, two brothers Milton and Ora, two sisters, and a Canadian sister-in-law. Funeral Monday at his home, Oak Park cemetery burial.
