County managers to gain pay raises in Lawrence County
Lawrence County Salary Board voted 3-1 to raise 31 non union and management positions by 75 cents per hour under the commissioners jurisdiction. A separate 3-1 vote granted jail staff a 75 cent raise plus benefits, with district attorney Hutchison's office also receiving 75 cents and benefits. Raises are retroactive to Jan 1. total costs cited include 48,360 for non union county personnel and 17,160 for jail staff, funded partly from a jail study budget balance.
