Frew Mill teachers work without pact as talks resume
Teachers at Frew Mill School commenced classes without a contract in an act of good faith. Union president Gary Lovesky said a negotiating session with Frew Mill Federation of Teachers and Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV is scheduled for tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in Grove City. State mediator August Turak will attend, discussions focus on language and non economic issues, with next meetings planned to resolve outstanding items including benefits and severance. In 1984 a brief strike preceded a tentative three year pact with raises and increased life insurance.
