CHAS H HOYT died last evening at 7 15 after collapsing and a second attack yesterday morning. He had been failing gradually since September with paresis and mental decline. His guardian was with him at the end, and Mr Howe had no nearer relatives than distant cousins.
Publishers' Press Disputeh reports no strike at the National Steel company plant in Mingo Junction after seven months of wage dispute and working hour changes. A 35 percent wage reduction is expected to be approved today as crews finish up quarters and repairs. A separate note mentions Stephen W.
