Albert Schaefnecker, armed and drunk, opened fire at a Lawrence glass factory and a man named Hunter. Watchman Josephs aided by officers arrested him. Italian laborer dies at Pearson quarries from heart failure
Manolo Pisone a 23 year old Italian laborer working at the Pearson limestone quarries on Eastbrook road collapsed at about 9 30 am while at work after saying he felt unwell. Coroner Porter found no foul play and did not hold an inquest. He lived with V Massaro at 284 Croton avenue, has a brother in Wampum, parents in Italy, and funeral is set for St. Vitus church with interment at St. Joseph's cemetery.
