Utah man pleads guilty in pot laden plane case
Ken Barton Burrows 54 of Orem Utah pleaded guilty in Pittsburgh federal court to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance for flying a marijuana laden Cessna into New Castle airport. Authorities traced the flight from the west coast as a zigzag approach and recovered 242 pounds of marijuana valued at 1.2 million dollars. Sentencing is set for February 20 before Judge Terrence F. McVerry with potential 5 to 40 years and up to 5 million dollars in fines.
